Het brein van een kind werkt anders dan dat van een volwassene. Voor een kind is alles nog nieuw en wilde fantasie vanzelfsprekend. Maar ze kunnen ook heel egoïstisch zijn, omdat ze zich niet goed kunnen inleven in een andere persoon.
In Kleinbrein laten twee meisjes hun fantasie de vrije loop, maar komen ze tegenover elkaar te staan doordat ze enkel aan zichzelf denken.

A child’s brain functions differently from that of an adult. To a child, everything is still new, and an unbridled imagination is a natural thing. But they can also be utterly selfish, from a simple lack of empathy.
In Kleinbrein (‘Smallbrain’), two little girls give free rein to their imaginations, but their exclusive focus on themselves brings them to a confrontation.
