I. Het Script :
Een verzameling van honderd gevonden beelden wordt het uitgangspunt van honderd korte tekstjes die zich verweven tot een meerlijnig, transversaal kluwen. Een boek - Het Script - verbindt woord en beeld in een hypertekstueel synoptisch systeem dat de aparte elementen structureel en narratief ontrafelt. Zoals in het geval van een verzameling mythes kan je het systeem beschouwen als een organisch lexicon voor een nog uit te vinden verhaal. Hoewel het Script op zichzelf staat als ware het een gedicht, is het tevens het uitgangspunt van De Film.

II. De Film :
De Film bestaat uit uitweidingen, sublimaties en narratieve kronkels die hun oorsprong vinden in de bevragingen van Het Script. Aan de hand van foto's, video en 3D ruimtes wordt een geheel gecreëerd dat zich voordoet als zoveel teasers (of fragmenten) voor een film dit niet bestaat: The Inhabitants.

Het resultaat van dit onderzoek is dus een fragmentair script voor een valse film, die beide rond de idee draaien van omgevingen als onzichtbare processen, de mechaniek van imitatie en simulacrum en de psychologische notie van het Unheimliche.

I. The Script :
A collection of one hundred found images is used as a basis to write one hundred short texts, producing a multi-linear transversal narration. A book — the Script — unifies the collection and texts inside a hypertextual synoptic system, unravelling structural and narrative correspondences between the units. Like a collection of mythologies, the system is considered as an organic lexicon for a story to be invented. Existing independently as a factual systemic poem, the Script is also the essential starting point of The Movie.

II. The Movie :
What is showed of the Movie is a scattered bunch of digressions, sublimations and narrative peaks linked to the Script’s questionings. In the form of photography, video and 3D spaces, the elements of the ensemble act as so many teasers (or fragments) for a movie that doesn’t exist : The Inhabitants.

The result of the research is, therefore, a fragmentary script for a fake movie, both mainly dealing with the idea of environments as invisible active processes, the mechanism of imitation and simulacrum, and the concept of the Uncanny.
