    Bio / Credits

    Zhenzhen Xu was born in Changsha, Hunan, China. She started playing the flute when she was 11 years old with Shihuang Rao and Prof.Jianhua Zhao at the music class in"Changsha Nr.11” school.

    After graduating school, Zhenzhen continued her studies with Bing Zhang for Bachelor Degree at the Shenzhen University.
    Zhenzhen was involved in a lot of chamber music and orchestral projects.Outside the University life, she has had the opportunity to perform in many cities around China.During her studies, Zhenzhen received the Excellent Student of Academic Performance - Second Price (2007-2008) and First Price (2008-2009).

    After graduating with Diploma for Bachelor of Music, Zhenzhen moved to Germany in 2010.She studied part-time with Kirill Mikhailo and Nikolai Jaeger in Weimar in 2011-2012 and studied as an auditor with Juliane Wolf-Niekisch at the Hochschule for Music, Threater and Media, Hannover in 2012-2013. 

    Zhenzhen has had lessons and masterclasses with teacher like:Peter-Lukas Graf, prof.Hongjun Zhang,Sanqing Chen,Prof.Wally Hase,Prof.Harrie Starreveld and others.

    In 2013 Zhenzhen moved to Belgium, where she starts her Master of Music degree with Myriam Graulus at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent.
